4.4.3 Core Enhancements

This section provides an overview of the more notable features delivered in this release with their highlights summarized below.

To understand the full scope of these new features and to view the complete list of minor enhancements and bug fixes delivered with this release, review the remainder of the document.

Partial Payment Issues Addressed

[PBI 456487]

Prior to the release, payment details related to Partial Payments were not always saved in the user session upon exiting the Payment Details modal. The issue occurred because the code behind the Save and Close button was not triggered and could not save the details upon closing the modal. A system enhancement has been implemented to only close the modal once the payment details have been saved successfully in the user session.

Timeouts When Retrieving Outstanding Invoices - Billing

[PBI 457612]

Prior to the release, certain payments that were processed through the Moneris provider were not completed. There was an issue where the payment process through the Moneris provider would timeout when the response was sent to a different server, due to a load balance issue. The Billing module has been enhanced to improve this process when retrieving Outstanding Invoices.

New Field for Storage Settings to Apply Default

[PBI 451242]

A new field has been added to the Storage Incidental to Transit panel on the Storage Settings page in Policy Setup.

The new field, Storage Applies by Default, is always checked unless the user de-selects the checkbox. When selected, this setting controls the default value of the Storage Applies or Storage Does Not Apply options on the Shipment Incidental to Transit panel of the Shipment Form.

Referrals Triggered for Storage via the Shipment Form Configurations

[PBIs 451401, 451402]

Previously, the system did not generate referrals for storage declarations configured as Storage Incidental to Transit that were generated via the Shipment Form. If the Storage Settings are configured to apply the Named Location - Maximum Insurable Limit Per Primary Assured, a referral is triggered if the declaration is being booked via the Shipment Form and the limit has been reached or exceeded for the selected Primary Assured and the selected Named Location.

In the event the limit is reached or exceeded on a Storage Incidental to Transit transaction, it is Referred and a message is displayed to the user.

Users Able to View Specified Countries for Routes and Special Rate Routes

[PBI 454019]

Users are now able to view the countries included on a Shipment Route or Special Rate Route under the Routes screen on the policy. Whereas, prior to the release, this was only visible through the Administration module.

Ability to Copy Settling Agent Groups

[PBI 447959]

Users can now copy existing Settling Agent Groups and the associated details.

In the Administration module, users who are assigned the Manage Settling Agent Group security right can copy existing Settling Agent Groups from the Settling Agent Groups grid and Details page. When users click the Copy button, the system creates a new Settling Agent Group with the same details and copies them into the appropriate Settling Agent Group Details and Agents in Group tabs.

Users can only copy one settling agent group at a time and only agent companies available within the user's scope are available to be copied.

Ability to Copy Shipment Certificate Templates

[PBI 447960]

Users can now copy existing Shipment Certificate Templates.

In the Administration module, users who are assigned the Manage Certificates and View Original Certificate security rights can copy existing Shipment Certificate Templates from the Certificate Templates grid and Details page. When users click the Copy button, the system creates a new Shipment Certificate Template with the same details and copies them into the appropriate Certificate Template Details and Placeholders tabs.

Users can only copy one certificate template at a time and only certificates available within the user's scope are available to be copied.

Claim Settling Agent Fields Added to Policy SSC

[PBI 358233]

As of this release, all Claim Settling agent field labels displayed on the Shipment Form can be customized, based on the policy definition and configuration. Users with the Edit Policy security right can add a custom label to each Claim Settling Agent field under the Shipment Custom Configurations screen when the Claim Settling Agent is not hidden on the SSC at the policy level.

Upon rendering the Shipment screen, the Claim Settling Agent Details additional fields label will display as defined in the Policy - Custom Configurations.
